From Berry and studied at CELSA Paris, Thomas Tissandier first started a career as a strategic planner in advertising before moving into photography at the age of 30, driven by his lifelong passion. As a student and during his travels, he would capture strangers leaning on counters, from New York to Paris through Lille.
Inspired by the atmosphere of bistrots and the melancholic solitude of Edward Hopper’s paintings, he plays with shadows and light, transforming each moment into a cinematic scene.
Skilled in both film and digital photography, Thomas is now based in Paris and collaborates with prestigious houses such as Maison Margiela, Zilli, and Bollinger, while remaining true to his pursuit of authenticity and timeless beauty. His images capture fragments of life, where traditional luxury meets beauty of the ordinary.
